Since learning to write as a young child, I have loved crafting poems and prose. To this day, close family members are sorely disappointed if they don't receive a poem with their birthday card!
Stories, especially those inspired by my former patients, fill my head- begging to be told. I particularly enjoy writing children's poetry, picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels and young-adult novels.
I am a member of the Authors Guild and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and am actively involved in multiple writing critique groups.
