I was born and raised in Sydney, Australia but have lived in the U.S.A since 2013.
In Australia, I worked as a family physician (general practitioner). After moving to the U.S.A, I decided to cease clinical practice and devote my attention to my husband, children, and a long-ignored dream of writing for children.
These days, you can find me crafting picture book and middle grade stories for children, imparting medical knowledge in school presentations, and writing health-related articles as the Down Under Doc. I am also a children's book reviewer for Kid Lit Exchange.
I currently live, even in winter time, in Chicago, IL. It's not a location that necessarily suits my Australian, warm-weather-blood but I'm holding up surprisingly well so far. I've even learnt how to shovel snow!
