![]() I was born and raised in Sydney, Australia but have lived in the U.S.A since 2013. In Australia, I worked as a family physician (general practitioner). After moving to the U.S.A, I decided to cease clinical practice and devote my attention to my husband, children, and a long-ignored dream of writing for children. These days you can find me crafting stories and poetry for children, reviewing books for Net Galley, substitute teaching in my local school district, and working as a fellow at The Writing Barn I currently live, even in winter time, in Chicago, IL. It's not a location that necessarily suits my Australian, warm-weather-blood but I'm holding up surprisingly well so far. I've even learnt how to shovel snow!
